Terms of Service

Please read these terms before creating an account. By registering for or using HOCSAT, you agree to everything below.
1. About the service
HOCSAT (hocsat.com) is a Digital SAT practice platform operated by ESAT Education Science and Technology Company Limited (trading as ESAT Technology). The service includes full-length timed practice tests, automatic scoring on the 1600 scale, and detailed per-question explanations. Registered office: 180A, Alley 173 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Ngoc Ha Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, Vietnam. Office: Unit 2606, Tower A, Paragon Building, 86 Duy Tan Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
2. Your account
- You need a working email address to register. A 6-digit password is sent to that address and is never shown on the registration screen; please change it after your first sign-in.
- One account per person. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Do not share accounts. Do not create multiple accounts to obtain extra free tests — we may suspend all related accounts.
3. Plans and what they include
- Free accounts can take 3 full-length tests. Retaking a test you have already used does not consume another slot.
- Total score, section scores and the correct answers are always visible, including on free accounts.
- Detailed explanations are part of the paid plans. Free accounts can preview the opening of every explanation to see which direction the solution takes.
- Paid plans run for a fixed period from activation. Plans you paid for before we changed our pricing keep their original benefits until they expire.
4. Pricing and payment
The prices shown on the Plans page are the prices in force. Customers in Vietnam pay in Vietnamese dong through the PayOS gateway or by bank transfer. Customers elsewhere pay in US dollars by card or PayPal: our order process for these payments is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders paid in US dollars; Paddle handles the payment, sales tax/VAT, and order-related inquiries and returns, under the Paddle Buyer Terms. A plan is activated once our system reconciles the amount against your order. After activation you need to sign in again for your session to pick up the new access.
5. Refunds
- Orders paid in US dollars (via Paddle): you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. We refund in full if a technical problem caused by HOCSAT prevents you from using the service. Use the link in your Paddle receipt email, visit paddle.net, or email info@hocsat.com with your order code. Once refunded, access to the plan ends.
- Orders paid in Vietnamese dong (PayOS or bank transfer): if a technical problem caused by HOCSAT prevents you from using the service, contact us within 7 days of payment and we will extend your plan or refund you in part or in full.
6. Trademarks and independence
SAT® and Digital SAT™ are trademarks of the College Board. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the College Board.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Sharing, renting or reselling access to an account.
- Using automated tools, scrapers or direct API calls to extract content from the platform.
- Attempting to reach paid content by any workaround.
- Interfering with, attacking or overloading the system.
8. Limitation of liability and changes to these terms
We provide practice tools and make no promise about any score on the real exam; results depend on each student's own preparation. The service is provided "as is" and may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or upgrades. We may change these terms; the new version will be published on this page with its date, and continuing to use the service means you accept it.
